Well, there’s only one thing left to do. I’m cancelling my subscription to the Telegraph, because the links don’t seem to work anyway, even after I fixed them. I must say, however, that the two words seem very closely linked — isn’t to reign the same as to rule/control/direct — and what is the point of reins? What are we debating? *g*

Ohhh Scarecrow. As a fmr horse-trainer, I can tell you – oh my goodness, where to begin… forceable reign brings chaos tw’ 1000-lb animal & lil’ human; rein however, gently & humanely applied, with training & much tact, yields dressage, or just simple, incredible feats of partnership.

British accent & all, please witness video of what has been great fun for me, except my lil’ mare was a sweet tiny Arab, horse-size with her shoes on, pony stature with them off. She impressed the socks off a lotta folk, even tho we didn’t show much, & I still miss her. She would do ANYTHING you asked of her, but force was out-of-the-question.

Oh, except there’s the redneck letter writers of The Bee, who moan about the illegal, illegals. But they don’t moan about the the epidemic of illegality in the BushCo world.

Or their accomplicies in the Demo party.

I think it was in the Bee that there was a cartoon showing Cheney and Al Maliki; Cheney is chiding AM about their faillures to do this or that and or the rampant examples of this or that and AM thinks, He still doesn’t get the irony of what he’s saying.

Still, it was nice to see the calf covorting over the weekend.

By the way, has anyone heard anything about what Greg Palast is saying about the ‘08 election being bought already? He mentioned it in passing on CSPAN, but didn’t get a chance to elaborate.
