TBSA; the dems are playing it just about right. If they could pull the plug on the shitmire, by themselves, the next act in the loon-opera (the one that’s likely to be even worse than what we’re seeing now) would be laid squarely on their doorstep, by republicans yowling that they had snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

All the dems have to do, is keep piling up the “Why can’t we start bringing them home?” chits, for bush to veto, which they can then start cashing in with the voters, next year.

(If not sooner. :o) )

We begged them:

Don’t tie the rope around your necks.

Don’t jump off.

Now, they’re starting to scream at us:

I know it’s cyinical, but most of the blame for getting us into this miserable Hobson’s Choice, goes to the repubs. I think it’s paramount, and VERY appropriate, that the blame that will be apportioned for the end of it, should go to them.

And until THEY step up and take the lead for offering bush up as a sacrificial goat (and they will) AHEAD of the 2008 elections, we should just keep the pressure on, and they can graze, and chew their patrio-brontosaur cud, and look at the meteor, to their heart’s content.

It is about the resignation of Kevin Ryan. It implicates AG requesting preparation of a “retirement letter” prepared “for his signature” (Ryan’s signature? Gonzo’s signature?) within a 2 week timeframe (I don’t know what timeframe), even though Ryan is not set to resign until 4/27/07. Maybe the AG they are referring to is the AG for the state – not Gonzo.?????????
