This is a bit scary. Fortunately, there are those archive sites? that keep copies of stuff online, in case it gets taken offline? These are independently owned and operated websites, but unfortunately I can’t remember where they’re kept.

Those sites have been handy for gov stuff that gets taken down. For example, the Clinton administration did a lot of stuff on the Digital Divide that the Bushies didn’t like, so about 4 months after Bush was inaugerated in 2000, reports on the digital divide on gov websites started disappearing. Sorry, I don’t have time to chase down references now, but if someone wants’em, I can provide examples.

Those web archives become even more important now, in the face of these attempts to revise history.

Touche’ I am now as confused as you are as to why Schumer brought up the bombings. I’m gonna go back and look also, because it was a year a a half later that Comey left. What changed his mind? I thought it was the bombings. Thanks LS.
