You try making life and death decisions for kids at risk from violence, juveniles, and adult criminals — all of which come flying at you constantly day in and day out, and stay on call 24-hours a day, seven days a week, for years and years. Carrying Grand Jury secrets that no one should ever have to know about what human beings do to each other. And then never, ever make a mistake. Jeebus — no one is perfect, and a lot of these folks are either kids right out of law school or veterans who are doing their damndest to keep decency and ethics alive in these offices. Don’t you dare start spouting some bullshit about a “thin grey line.” I mean it…this situation is bad enough as it is. Don’t you dare.

LOL! I never had my stuff edited before. I try to use symbols instead of spelling things out. But after Chicago Dyke posted here a couple of times, I wasn’t sure where to draw the line. That being said, your daytime audience might be different from the nighttime audience.
Anyway, my comment was a riff on that George Bernard Shaw joke that goes, “Madam, would you sleep with me for $1,000 pounds?”

After Biskupic (or another attorney in his office) railroaded Keith Roberts, how do all the other lawyers there show up for work…at the Department of Justice?

And how do they go home at night and look their husbands and wives and children in the eye?

When will the career DOJ attorneys break the grey code of silence?

When will they come forth and share their knowledge of their co-workers’ abuse of power?

When will they stop being the “Good Germans” of Rove’s DOJ?
