Tell me about it. I grew up in Oklahoma and they had a stranglehold on much of the state even then. They did not even legalize liquor by the drink until I left 20 years ago. Of course they also kept prohibition going until 1956.

Sounds hideous, and I’m not even much of a drinker.

This is too good to pass up: Oklahoma lead the nation in G*ritol sales for ages (ca. 45 proof) and probably has the largest middens of empties in the world. KS 3.2 C**rs was flavored waters but did keep the thumpers at bay.

Add to that where we’ll be with the multitude of investigations already underway into these crooks and McGoverns’ prediction about Bush & Darth not making it through 2008 looks kinda accurate.

In one sense you’re correct; they’re certainly cornered. On the other hand I think they were far more dangerous before last November when they could operate in the dark (like Darth and all good vampires prefer) before the cleansing effects of sunlight (oversight & investigations) could manifest itself.
