As a regular listener to Sean Hannity, Jane, you are just wrong. Hannity has been using the Soros quote for at least two years. I myself have been reading FDL not because I agreed with you but because your quasi-transcripts of the Libby trial were coming out faster than anyone elses. But you are still wrong for one simple reason put by Gen. Patton. Real Americans don’t like to lose wars. They don’t like people (and politicans) who cause their Generals to lose wars. And they don’t like to be taxed for Government programs they don’t like. It’s why the Nation will be Conservative always. The may not like the way this war has been fought, but the real people want the US to be Supreme and US values to rule the world.

You seem to know so much about people, how could you be SO wrong about SO much? I am sick to death with your crap factology. People want to have some kind of future to look forward to, and that is being stolen away from them by the ruling elite who have nothing better for us to do than grind our blood into dust defending their property. Conservatism is what happens when people FORGET what conservatives did to the country last time. You are a DISEASE. You will KILL your host if you don’t STOP.

Several people saw right through Hillary’s purpose, and, in my view, FDL lost some cred for doing the fluff when there’s so many real concerns confronting women today. She should have taken that bit of meaningless bs to the Stepford wives afternoon tea. Hillary did herself no favors using FDL in that way.

Frankly, I thought it was disrespectful on her part to not bring a topic, ok, THE topic on everyone’s mind and actually discuss it. Shame on her.

Hannity was just continuing the Faux agenda, make a target out of Soros…. as IF he’s in charge of something and as IF the normal people of this country blindly follow along like the mindless bushies and faux news viewers. As if. They’ll do and say anything to keep the red herring parade going. He’s just pissed his big shut-up stick turned into a big slimy wet noodle.

When Clinton took office after Nixon, Reagan and Bush I (albeit with a brief semi-pause under Carter), DC was a place badly in need of trashing.

Now, after 12 years of a GOP Congress and what will be 8 years of Bush II, DC is in need of a very major ‘trashing.’

“It wasn’t his place” because Broder’s GOP town had and has a sense of entitlement.
