to all the people here who dumped on Jason Leopold over and over about his so-called flawed stories on the plame case you should know that George Tenet’s book confirms all of Leopold’s reporting on prewar intelligence and all the stuff that went on behind the scenes.

and then there is this story in tomorrow’s NYT about Halliburton and Iran. Another story Leopold broke two years ago and won an award for. I think Leopold deserves a second look from the people who thre him under the bus

I agree. Leopold stuck his neck out a bit on the Rove-indictment story and possibly got caught in a Heisenberg effect where his very observation changed affected the outcome. But let’s keep that in perspective.

Good morning, firepups! A glorious sunny day here in western Maine. Still too cold to set out the tomatoes, even with the Walls-O-Water.

Mr. Ixnay and I have been married for 25 years as of today, so I’m hoping for all good news.

I never seem to have anything of substance to say, but my posting times are generally too early in the morning to crank up much outrage. That said, the Ireland abortion link above makes me incredibly afraid for the women of our country of child-bearing age: how long before the forced-birth crowd succeeds in making that the usual scenario here?
