You see, the good thing about Monica was that she didn’t work for anyone else.

Google: Lewinsky Levy Mossad for links that discuss - on both sides - just who Monica and Chandra may have been working for.

A facet I haven’t seen in discussion of this topic is the likelihood (like the sun come up in the morning) of the outing of several dozens(?) of professional women who worked for this service. I wonder how many “university professors, legal secretaries, scientists, military officers” will find their careers ended as well? As with all of these ’sex scandal’ events, most of people who will have their lives destroyed really don’t deserve it.

Well, it can complete destroy the individuals career and lead to depression and suicide.

Here is an interesting case that, in fact, might be related.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/.....00654.html

Mitch McConnell is , Gay?
omg.

I don’t know about Klein’s reasons for saying that, but I can’t stand McConell myself so I’m glad. I wonder if he’s the secret block opposing the sunshine bill in the Senate. He openly opposed the campaign financing in the McCain Feingold that is being heard by SCOTUS last week.

there is nothing I would like better than to see this crusty lifer gone in the Senate.

The discussion has turned somewhat cautious. I too wonder if this isn’t a weapon being swung by Rove to either tame Dems into doing less harm or if it’s being used to distract attention (and since when doesn’t sex and kink do that) from the upcoming battle over Condi’s subpoenaed testimony about how we really didn’t know if Saddam was a real threat or if he might become one.

The game is wide-ranging and during this Bush/Rove era there are an amazing choice of weapons, tactics and subterfuges.

Hey, if they’re gonna be evil they might as well use all their pitchforks.

Left a message with Faux News yesterday afternoon ’cause the T. Randall story was most everywhere on the web ‘cept there. Maybe they were waiting for a Democrat’s name or two to surface and lead with that. Saw the story on Faux this a.m. I’ll have to check and see if it’s been updated.

While I’d rather not imagine Karl Rove or any of his cronies doing anything but shredding documents (esp. if it involves costumes, thank you), I agree that why the Randall story matters is because his message to whole countries was “just say no.”

Uganda’s shining success against AIDS (A-B-C:Abstinence, Be Faithful, use Condoms) has been actively undermined by the abstinence-only and no-sex-work funding restrictions of the BushCo AIDS initiative. Uganda is going backwards in its war on AIDS; BushCo is an ally of AIDS, not AIDS prevention.

We were chatting about this earlier at chez TSF — do you suppose these women Associates in “serious and important” jobs were recruited from their “serious and important” jobs, or were they recruited as students reading the Washington City Paper and the University of Maryland student paper? Both carried recruitment ads (”help wanted”) for PM&A.

Did these women then graduate to take “serious and important” jobs and were they unwilling to give up the untaxable side income? Or did Palfrey blackmail them into staying in the life?

Supposedly they are various military women, scientists, professors and so on. 300 dollars an hour is mighty attractive to an undergrad.

Silly, this is DC! Even the hookers would have to have the appropriate level security clearance.

I think I was borne to the wrong generation. Even though I served in the Pacific Fleet Navy based in Pearl Harbor, it should have been sixty years prior during WWII. Those ladies are smokin’. What happened to the savior fare of the “greatest generation”. Why did we trade the ladies of that magazine for walking stick-figure swizzle-stick action-figures like Paris Hilton?

Anyways… Great graphic TSF. Time for me to wipe the drool off my mouth and actually go read your piece now. :)

No kidding, Nate. And I miss regular hairy-chested guys. What’s with the little shaved boy look. Eeek… These trends will pass.

You know what would be hysterical? if it turns out Fred Thompson met his wife through Pamela Martin Associates!

Hmmmm… from Wikipedia:

Thompson married Jeri Kehn in Naperville, Illinois, at the First Congregational United Church of Christ on June 29, 2002. Kehn (born January, 1967) is an attorney and a political media consultant at the Verner, Liipfert, Bernhard, and McPherson law firm in Washington, D.C., and she once worked for the Senate Republican Conference and the Republican National Committee. According to a July 1, 2002, Washington Post article “Senator Thompson marries”, Thompson first met the then 29-year-old Jeri Kehn on July 4, 1996.

Pamela Martin and Associates was in business from 1993 to October of 2006. Jeri Kehn would be just the sort of person that Deborah Jeane Palfrey would have hired to work for her.

In the words of former Reagan speechwriter Peggy Noonan, “Is it irresponsible to speculate? It is irresponsible not to.”

I dunno, PW, this kind of speculation makes me a little uncomfortable….

me too. I’d rather just say she looks like a plastic bimbo draped across the arm of a slithering reptile.
