I've been combing the YouTOOBZ looking for a suitable lullaby and I believe this may be it.
Man, woman, gay, straight, bi, in-between, whatever, honestly, could any creature on earth truly be more alluring than Debbie Harry?
Lyrics below the fold.
Shayla
Shayla worked in a factory
She wasn't history. She's just a number
One day she gets her final pay
And she goes far away
Green trees call to me
I am free but life is so cheap
Scenery is still outside of me
All alone, trapped by its beauty
Shayla turned to run away
To leave in peace and end her stay
Years of fear were in her way
Lost in space and down she came
Suddenly some subtle entity
Some cosmic energy brushed her like shadows
Down here we stop to wonder
Cars on the freeway. Bright lights and thunder

Hey TRex!
Goddamn, I’m tired.
Long day.
I’ve been away for a while. Is late-late happening all the time now?
ouiski @ 3
Well, the comments have been coming so thick and fast to Late Nite that they overload the server.
So, I’ve been doing these Late Late Nite posts.
As I’ve said before, every blogger should have my problems.
boo
Congratulations. You are a hard-working dude.
Good Job Trex!
Very nice, Trex.
TRex @ 2
Go to sleep. We’ll manage. Won’t laugh as much, but we will manage.
Blondi, rocks!!!! Thanx, TRex!
I feel ya, TRex. It’s been a long day for me too – up at 5 AM, finally get to dinner at 10 PM – bustin’ ass nonstop in between.
But at least I’m not way behind the thread like I usually am…
Don’t worry about us, TRex. We can chat quietly amongst ourselves while you get some beauty sleep. Don’t forget to moisturize – your scales are looking rather dry.
Fabulous TRex – Deborah Harry Forever! BTW you have fresh fountain pen email. ;~)
And it’s nice to be able to kick it here Lake-side with the puppies at the end of a day like this one.
ouiski @ 3
To paraphrase Jimmy Buffet, “It’s always late-late nite somewhere.”
Hey TRex, I have been waiting all day for your snarks re. the news of the day – Hillary, Kucinich, the White House investigating itself …
From the NYT:

TRex @ 4
Too bad…we all love us some 60-million-year-old theropod. Get some rest now! We needja fresh tomorrow!
Petrocelli, check your inbox.
OT – I am watching the replay of Mary Tillman’s testimony in front of Waxman’s committee today. She ripped them a new asshole and by implication Smirk’s crew. Tillman’s mother is pissed. We need more people like her speaking out.
Texas Betsy @ 9
The best laugh tonite was in the Eli post when Balrog mentioned “MrsBalrog” And Cassie asked incrediously “There’s a MrsBalrog?????” And of course Eli chimed in with “I bet she’s hot” I am still laughing at the exchange.
More of teh awesome from FDL — gracias, TRex.
Suzanne @

Thanks Suzanne, maybe you’ll sell that place quicker if you list it as a “Love Shack”. *g*
I’m off to Planet Claire.
Nite folks!
Joe Klein’s conscience @ 20
I am also watching. ALL the witnesses were wonderful today.
Helen
We’re not quite done with the manners thing around here. :)
Petrocelli @ 23
Oh Suzanne, what I wouldn’t give to be able to buy your place…can I see a link to it again?
Joe Klein’s conscience @ 20
I get what you mean, but all in all, I’d rather that there were fewer people like her that had such reasons to be ripping folks new ones.
The youngster who was ordered not to tell Kevin Tillman the truth . . . good for him for speaking up, too. I hope his superiors thank him for it, because he’s doing them a favor by showing the nation that not every person in a military uniform can be used for a prop by twisted PR people at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
my dream concert:
a double bill of
Debbie Harry and Leonard Cohen
The Joni Mitchell tribute album is out today. Highlight for me is an absolutely stunning version of “A Case of You” by … of all people … Prince.
Texas Betsy @ 26
We’re not quite done with the manners thing around here. :)
Oh no no no. She was fabulous. She tamed Balrog for the rest of us, but could still not fathom that there was a MrsBalrog. Trust me, Betsy – HYSTERICAL
Helen @21
I read the Hillary thread earlier and I laughed when I saw that Cassie told Hillary that she would be running in 2032. Hopefully on the Firepup ticket.

I’m sorry but I did not feel strong enough to watch the hearings. What a tragedy and we do not know how many more cover- ups there were. Was there talk that he Pat Tillman might have been purposely shot because he was going to talk to Chomsky? (Note to MOD, please edit this if it’s just speculation)
I hope the Dems have the guts to go after the people responsible and give justice to the Tillmans and all Americans.
Texas Betsy @ 26
We’re not quite done with the manners thing around here. :)
I’ll bet Mrs. Balrog is into the Dead.
And on that note, good nite again, and I really mean it this time!

For tomorrow evening’s viewing pleasure, may I suggest Bill Moyers? From Editor and Publisher:
Ouch.
Petrocelli @ 34
In the scheme of things it’s pretty unimportant, but am I the only person who is tremendously pissed off at the family that owns the Arizona Cardinals for selling naming rights to their new stadium instead of calling it “Pat Tillman Field?”
lolo @ 32
I told her on the last thread that she should keep doing what she’s doing. I wish that when I was 15 (a million yrs ago) I was as smart and assertive as she.
Oh, yeah. Bleached hair, too much makeup, an affectless persona… gimme gimme.
Love your snark, TRex, but your supposition of universal allure needs some work.
Just sayin’…
Helen @ 41
SO do I!
Petrocelli @ 37
I still want to move there! 92 Snowdon Ave. to be exact. I’ll kick out whoever is occupying the family home, and go to the Little Pie Shoppe every single day, and get a gig at the Chick’n Deli. I’m not afraid to dream big, Petro!

I have a whole day of news to catch up on – I’m hopelessly behind. I did hear about the investigation into Rover’s Hatch abuses, but not whether it’s for real or another crony cover-up…
Helen @ 41
She is such a natural. She reminds me of Anne of Green Gables. Such a sweet spirit, thanks Aunt Betsy for sharing her with us.
Texas Betsy @ 47
Also archived at C-SPAN’s website. Scroll down the main page, click on “all recent programs” and it’s there too.
Alicia @ 49
All day long we’ve been batting that back and forth. Only time will tell. But we all have faith in Waxman and Leahy.
Loo Hoo @ 45
There is a clip of her now too, at C & L.
Alicia @ 49
If you were going to put money on it, wouldn’t you take into account that horse’s history? :)
OK – Goodnight all. It’s 1:45 am here and I’ve got a desk job; so see you all tomorrow.

The September 25, 2005 edition of the San Francisco Chronicle newspaper reported that Tillman held views which were critical of the Iraq war and did not support President Bush’s re-election. According to Tillman’s mother, a friend of Tillman had arranged a meeting with Noam Chomsky, to take place after his return from Afghanistan. Chomsky has confirmed this [14]. The article also reported that Tillman urged a soldier in his platoon to vote for John Kerry in the 2004 U.S. Presidential election.[11]

Who knows whether he was shot because he wanted to talk to Chomsky. But it’s been verified that Tillman did in fact want to talk to him. If you watch the hearings, you can tell that the Tillman’s are no ones fools. They are not the type to shut up an be “loyal Bushies”.
I started this day under the old Ford pickup doing an oil change and then drove it to the studio, where i worked for the next 13 hours.
I am whipped, and my neck hurts from having to lean up while I pulled the oil pan plug….
i need to go to bed.
Suzanne, that’s a cute little place… what’s it going for?

I wonder who the Republican Senator is.
Texas Betsy @ 64
No kidding. If it were on the East Coast I’d buy it in a sec!! OK, really nighty-night all
$338,500 – cash – stock cooperative and traditional financing is not available – set up like a new york city co-op on the west coast – 24 cabins on 12 1/2 acres – it buys the cottage and one share of stock in the land.

It’s being replayed on C-Span right now. You can probably find it at their website, or you can always email John at C & L, and ask him where you can get clips.

Wow, I’d thought Rove and crew were so worried about the Hatch Act that they prevailed upon the RNC to let them use “firewall” e-mail accounts for political stuff. Gee, something here doesn’t seem to add up …

Words of wisdom!!!
Even humming a few songs improves the mood.
eg. Watching Bush’s ‘ad lib’ press conf. today, Freddie Mercury popped into my head … “doob a doob doob doob, another one bites the dust …”
That is considered “starter” around here. If it wasn’t a stock coop, would be a 4 instead of a 3 for the first #.

I hear ya!! But you gotta remember, sports is all about the money now. Especially with all the new stadiums or arena being built. I can only think of three stadiums that won’t become corporate named anytime soon. Yankee Stadium. Fenway Park and Wrigley Field(thought technically a corporate name Wrigley owned the team when the stadium was built).
You all want to talk about Real Estate prices, how about $250,000 for 1/4 acre building lot!!! Kailua-Kona prices run the locals out of town!!!

Don’t know if I can go to bed now… watching Cspan coverage of the Tillman/Lynch investigation. My kids went to ASU when Tillman was there, they know friends. We just had a memorial run a couple of weeks ago.
This one story has been a big shocker here and has been a turning point in the support for the war. It is the ONE story that they do not spin. Brutally truthful.
Suzanne @ 59
Thanks, Suzanne! It’s beautiful.
Miss Suzanne – you have mail.
Prostratedragon the GSA Power point presentation was sent over the GWB43 RNC servers, I believe it was that one, but it was sent over one of the RNC sites! It immediately was pounced on by Josh Marshall and led to Waxman asking about it! It was realeased during one of the ‘Dumps’!

LOL. Martin lost the last election because of a scandal involving one of Chretien’s ministers. The PCs are in, as a minority govt. and they are as red as Bush’s Reps. Ugly political mood, ugly ads, lots of mudslinging, very un- Canadian … and not likely to change for the better any time soon.
I wish Martin could have continued for 3 – 4 more years, he was a very smart man who let Chretien steal a lot of his credit. The rightward shift was a vote against the corruption in Chretien’s time, as if the PCs were any less corrupt.
Hey, if you meet Lilo & Stitch, tell them my kids say “Hi!” *g*

montag @

Sorry, buddy, please continue …
CTuttle @ 105
Okay, a Newfie gets all his gear together to go ice-fishing. Hikes over to the nearest ice and starts auguring a hole. As he’s doing so, he hears a voice from above, saying, “there’s nooooo fisssshhhhh there.” Shrugs and keeps on cutting his hole. Drops his line in and waits. And waits. And waits. No fish.
Picks up everything, and moves to a new location. Starts auguring a new hole. Same voice from above, saying, “there’s nooooo fisssshhhhh there.” Looks up and around, doesn’t see anyone, so he keeps on. Same thing. No fish. Gets frustrated and picks up everything and moves again.
Exactly the same thing happens. Picks up and moves. Same thing. Finally, he looks up and says, “you seem to know where the fish aren’t. Y’ must be God, I fear.”
The voice from above thunders down on him. “No, I’m not God. I’m the bloody rink manager.”
That’s right, Martin was the Liberal, I thought he was a Tory, my bad! But, I knew O’Canada swung to the right, who’s P.M.?
As interesting as these hearings are, I am starting to fade. 10 minutes and I’m shutting down

LMAO … I haven’t hear that one in years.
Okay, to be fair and balanced, I’ll tell a joke about my ‘people’ :
Are you still here, Betsy?
CTuttle @ 117
Stephen Harper, a Bushie if there ever was one in Canada.
Montaq, tooo much!!!! Sounds like a classic Newfie joke, lol!!!!
I’m still here, Petrocelli.
Suzanne @ 122
Me too. Thunderstorms here.
here also for a little while
If I recall, upon Harper’s election, Bush vowed to visit Canada! Something he had never done since he(Bush) was elected. Whereby, it was a long standing tradition for the President-elect’s first ‘Foreign’ official visit was Canada!!! At least dating back to Trudeau!
Texas Betsy, be careful! I heard there were a bunch of twisters in your neck of the woods!!
CTuttle @ 126
Yep. Just thunder here I think.
Okay, here’s my joke:-
An Indian goes into an electronics superstore, approaches a salesman and says, “I want to buy that TV.”
The salesman says, “I don’t sell to Indians.”
The guy says, “But I can pay you cash or I have credit cards, I really want that small TV, it’s the perfect size for my apartment.”
The salesman cuts him off, “I NEVER sell to Indians!”
Fuming, the Indian leaves the store. He decides to play a trick on the salesman, so he gets a funky haircut, dyes his hair blond, gets his skin ‘lightened’, takes speech classes to learn an English accent. Finally, he buys an expensive suit, sunglasses, top hat and cane and returns to the store.
Brimming with confidence, he approaches the same salesman and says, “My dear fellow, I would like to purchase that small Television over there.”
The salesman snaps, “I don’t sell to Indians.”
Frustrated, the Indian asks, “How do you know I’m Indian?”
The salesman replies, “Because it’s a microwave.”
CTuttle @ 125
Yup and Chretien made an ass of himself scurrying to Washington for a photo- op with Bush to ‘make up’ for Bush not visiting its largest trading partner.
Petrocelli @ 128
GROANNNN!!!!
double groan…
Reporters interviewing a 104-year-old woman: “And what do you think is the best thing about being 104?” the reporter asked.

“No peer pressure.”

Deborah Harry.
Despite all the studio and mechanical tweaking of her voice, NO ONE, had it goin on like Blondie did in that punk/pop fashion, when she dug down and did her best, and the cut offered here showcases Mz. Harry at her best.
Nice call, TRex, I think you used all the notes. The one’s you didn’t use, were spot on, too.
Love me Patti Smith, Talking Heads, and Them Whacked Out Ramone’s, too.
Texas Betsy @ 132
Priceless – LOL!
petrocelli, i heard that one first as a blonde joke – as my oldest is a blonde, i can’t help sending them to her (wicked grin).
thats ok gang just ignore lil ole me :o(
juslin @ 138
Sure. Why not!
larue @

I think the most incredible thing about Deborah Harry was that she left her stardom to care for her husband, who was diagnosed with a serious ailment.
When asked why she made that choice, Debbie said, “What else was I supposed to do?” as if it should be apparent to everyone that caring for loved ones is way ahead of fame and stardom and money.
Petrocelli, are you Cree or Chipewa, Athabascan, Que?
A very gentle Southern lady was driving across the Savannah River Bridge in Georgia one day. As she neared the top of the bridge, she noticed a young man ready to jump. She stopped her car, rolled down the window and said, “Please don’t jump, think of your dear mother and father.”
He replied, “Mom and Dad are both dead; I’m going to jump.”
She said, “Well, think of your wife and children.”
He replied, “I’m not married, and I don’t have any kids.”
She said, “Well, think of Robert E. Lee.”
He replied, ”Who’s Robert E. Lee?”
She replied, ”Well bless your heart, just go ahead and jump, you stupid Yankee.”
Petrocelli @ 140
Did not know that about her. Thanks!

Wanda’s dishwasher quit working so she called a repairman. Since she had t o
go to work the next day, she told the repairman, “I’ll leave the key under
the mat. Fix the dishwasher, leave the bill on the counter, and I’ll mail you a check.”
“Oh, by the way don’t worry about my bulldog Spike. He won’t bother you. But,
whatever you do, do NOT, under ANY circumstances, talk to my parrot!” “I
REPEAT, DO NOT TALK TO MY PARROT!!!”
When the repairman arrived at Wanda’s apartment the following day, he
discovered the biggest, meanest looking bulldog he has ever seen. But, just
as she had said, the dog just lay there on the carpet watching the repairman
go about his work.
The parrot, however, drove him nuts the whole time with his incessant
yelling, cursing and name calling. Finally the repairman couldn’t contain
himself any longer and yelled,
“Shut up, you stupid, ugly bird!”
To which the parrot replied,
“Get him, Spike!”

Worlds Shortest Fairytale
Once upon a time, a girl asked a guy, “Will you marry me?”
The guy said “No” and the girl lived happily ever after, and went shopping, drank martinis with friends, always had a clean house, never had to cook, had a closet full of shoes and handbags, stayed skinny, and was never farted on.

Few people remember that the Nobel Prize winner married his cousin, Elsa Lowenthal, after his first marriage dissolved in 1919.

A policeman drives by a bar late one night, after closing time, and notices two male patrons, obviously drunk, lying on the sidewalk in front of the establishment. When he parks the squad car and approaches, he notices that one of the men has his finger up the other ones exposed ass. When the policeman asks just what is going on, the owner of the finger states, “My friend here is very drunk and I’m trying to make him throw up”. The policeman informs the fellow that normally you would make someone throw up my putting a finger into his throat, not his ass! To which the drunk replies, “When I put this finger down his throat, I guarantee you he WILL throw up!”

Little Johnny is passing his parents’ bedroom in the middle of the night, in search of a glass of water. Hearing a lot of moaning and thumping, he peeks in and catches his folks in The Act. Before dad can even react, Little Johnny exclaims “Oh, boy! Horsie ride! Daddy, can I ride on your back?” Daddy, relieved that Johnny’s not asking more uncomfortable questions, and seeing the opportunity not to break his stride, agrees. Johnny hops on and daddy starts going to town. Pretty soon mommy starts moaning and gasping. Johnny cries out, “Hang on tight, Daddy! A blond and her husband love to golf together, but neither of them are playing like they want to, so they decide to take private lessons. The husband has his lesson first. After the pro sees his swing, he says, “No,no,no, you’re gripping the club way too hard!” “Well, what should I do?” asks the man. “Hold the club gently,” the pro replied, “just like you’d hold your wife’s breast.” The man takes the advice, takes a swing, and WOW! He hits the ball 250 yds. straight up the fairway. The man goes back to his wife with the good news, and the wife can’t wait for her lesson. The next day the wife goes for her lesson. The pro watches her swing and says, “No, no, no, you’re gripping the club way too hard.” “What can I do?” asks the wife. “Hold the club gently, just like you’d hold your husband’s penis.” The wife listens carefully to the pro’s advice, takes a swing, and THUMP. The ball goes straight down the fairway . . . about 15 ft. “That was great,” the pro says. “Now, take the club out of your mouth and swing the club like you’re supposed to!” says the pro.

Fascist America, in 10 Easy Steps
From Hitler to Pinochet and Beyond, History Shows There Are certain Steps That Any Would-Be Dictator Must Take To Destroy Constitutional Freedoms. And George Bush and His Administration Seem To Be Taking Them All
by Naomi Wolf
Last autumn, there was a military coup in Thailand. The leaders of the coup took a number of steps, rather systematically, as if they had a shopping list. In a sense, they did. Within a matter of days, democracy had been closed down: the coup leaders declared martial law, sent armed soldiers into residential areas, took over radio and TV stations, issued restrictions on the press, tightened some limits on travel, and took certain activists into custody. They were not figuring these things out as they went along. If you look at history, you can see that there is essentially a blueprint for turning an open society into a dictatorship. That blueprint has been used again and again in more and less bloody, more and less terrifying ways. But it is always effective. It is very difficult and arduous to create and sustain a democracy – but history shows that closing one down is much simpler. You simply have to be willing to take the 10 steps.
As difficult as this is to contemplate, it is clear, if you are willing to look, that each of these 10 steps has already been initiated today in the United States by the Bush administration.

Nah, I do really great improv though. Like Robin Williams, I was a huge fan of Jonathan Winters. My ‘calling’ is yoga/meditation.
ohh texasbetsy thats frightening but i saw it coming a couple of years ago but my friends called me paranoid…

Just cause you’re paranoid doesn’t mean they’re not out to get you ….

Many of us outside of the U.S. could see it happening, but our friends and relatives in America pooh poohed our observations.
I saw it when Bush gave his SOTU address after 9/11.
i’d like to begin yoga i need to learn to calm myself – my aunt was a yoga enthusiast and tried to get me interested
OK. they adjourned the house hearing. Time for me to shut down. Night all!
Gonna call it a night myself, folks. Been a long day. G’nite all.

talk about a lack of morals, values and common decency. everything is for sale.
the sacrifice that Pat Tillman made is sacred.
My cousins served in ‘Nam and the first Gulf war. My nephew is currently in Iraq and his grandpa is worried sick, like the rest of us. But they all supported Bush/Lieberman until last summer, when stories from soldiers started coming back ‘unfiltered’ to the Homeland.

Find a teacher who is calm and fun loving … uptight yoga teachers are no better than uptight teachers of any subject. They eventually suck the life and fun out of all their students.

‘being calm’ isn’t something you have to become, it is the one thing you always were, your true self, what you always will be.

you may be correct and i need to reclaim my inner calm….

Begin to do so today if possible. Do not delay, once you regain your inner calm, you’ll remember how much better life was when you were connected to it. If I may suggest some books and CDs, by Louise Hay and Wayne Dyer.

Good morning, pups. It’s MoDo and Friedman in the NYT today. MoDo is sharpening her claws on the Obamas, and Friedman says the most important energy crisis in America is the lack of leadership on environmental issues.

Good Morning, Firepups!
Clear and mild this morning in central Jersey. Haven’t been around the ‘Lake much except as a lurker. Our basement flooded when the sump pump kicked out after the April 14th deluge, so early mornings last week were spent cleaning up the mess [which is still pretty messy]. Mr. NJP’s parents were both hospitalized over the past weekend, so much fretting around here about their long term needs.
Meanwhile, NJ’s gov is off the respirator. Yea! But Corzine’s still on heavy-duty pain killer meds, so Dick Codey remains acting gov.
Mr. NJP is off to stay with his dad, who comes home from the hospital today. He’ll be gone a few days, and then his sister will come for the weekend. Health problems for aging parents–the lament of middle age.
Oversight is a truly wonderful thing. Harry Reid seems to have been expecting the push back from the administration and is doing his own pushing back [three cheers for Democratic spines!]. I still have hope that Congress will do the right thing and end the awful war in Iraq.
I’m going out for bagels. Coffee’s hot, so help yourselves.
Work for peace, every day.
egregious @ 205
Totally cool! And, yeh……..howya do that?

ralphbon – shows up for me on preview; this is a test to see if the same thing happens to my quote.
Well, rats & codfish…………that’s absolutely no fun at all.
Any wizards out there know why eg’s notes went pffffttt? Mac based here.
NJP — Sorry to hear about Mr NJP’s parents, and your basement. As a graduate of Ruptures the State University, I have a soft spot (or was that a hernia?) for central NJ.
Like you, I’m heartened that every day, in every way, Harry Reid is acting more like a genuine Democrat. But if you haven’t caught the Daily Show clip showing him interrupting Nancy Pelosi and putting his arm around her condescendingly, it’s up on their website. The precise moral equivalent, I’m afraid, of that ambush rubdown Dubya gave to Angela Merkel some time back.
(And, unlike RG Joe, Reid has never even pretended to be prochoice. Still, every day in every way…)
I have twelve hour work day today and I don’t think I’ll be able to visit today
I know this is off topic and if someone wants to repost it on a thread that’s more on point please feel free;
I had an Epiphany this morning reading the following from think progress;
I believe I came up with a scenario that would work and all we have to do is organize the strategy
look, the new leadership of the republican party are not republicans, they are fascists who have high jacked the party and their constituents
this is a fact not a speculation, there is nothing republican about this leadership…they are “neo cons” but they are not “extra concervative” they are radical in every sense of the word
so to restate
this leadership is neither republican nor Conservative and they have high jacked the party and their constituents
therefore, since the real republicans don’t want to be tossed from power for at least a generation, which is what will happen if they don’t do something about this administration. they can do something that will save their party and possibly save their jobs;
they can ouster the neo cons and their movement from the party
I don’t mean they should start a new party for themselves, I mean they should literally throw these fascists out of their party and reclaim their integrity.
now, I don’t know if they can actually do this legally but they can sure do it rhetorically
I GUARANTEE there are republicans that will get on board a movement like that
they are now hostages and all they have to be is enabled
once they effectively remove these fascists from their party impeachment will be WEEKS away, not months but weeks.
they will simply march into this administrations office and say in no uncertain terms;
“you will be voted out of office in the senate or you will resign, one or the other but you will no longer be president or vice president”
I know this will become apropos in a future thread but I won’t be around to post
OT, but Good Morning ‘Pups! Pleaae wish our fambly well; we got the call at 0500 that our son-in-law was driving our elder daughter to the hospital to deliver Grandchild #1. GoodVibes pls! :)
(… and now back to the normal topic in progress …)
I got SUCH jollies this AM when I heard that Rover would be one of the earliest targets of the OSC’s probe (and I know just where it should go!). His violations (heh) of the Hatch Act are so clear and blatant, ah do bleev that he is cooked.

as far as the rove investigation I believe this is a red herring.
hasn’t the president himeslf staffed this investigation?

Just read the Kucinich articles of impeachment. It’s all about misleading the public and Congress about Iraq. Nothing about all the other stuff.
I suppose the real reason that impeachment is off the table for Pelosi et al, is that a conviction requires 2/3 majority in the Senate, and the Repugs would never let that fly, no matter what the evidence. They’ve already proven that they will sit on every crime they investigate, so why would they listen to real evidence? They already know he did it.
Still, it’s depressing that this stuff is going nowhere. Let’s hope for some good subpeonas today. At least we get those.
Perris,
that was just after we had Tom Matzzie from Moveon – and today is John & Teresa Heinz-Kerry

Georgesimian @ 219
2 schools of thought (well, maybe more than that) – 1) Leahy, Waxman and Conyers building a case for multiple impeachments, working towards getting the 2/3 Senate majority before Nancy steps in or 2)Impeachment ties them up pretty good for the next year or so. I prefer door number 1 myself.
