But, with great backlash and the unconventional American Catholic being more of a cafeteria Catholic, there could be backlash against Republicans.

They might also pose it as part of their Culture War to pit Church against everything else. Hey, it fits in with their view that government should be a theocracy, so long as THEY get to win and run the world.

If Roe v. Wade is overturned how long do ya suppose it will take for about a hundred doctors to ignore it and save their patient’s lives by doing an abortion. After all, isn’t it the law they have to save life?
