That was the funniest thing I think I have ever Heard!!!

This AG’s embarrassment is the, now familiar, end for those gullible enough to do Cheney / Rove’s dirty work: They are hung out to dry (a la Libby), while the puppet-masters hide in the shadows.

It’s almost as if John McCain is trying to lose the republican primary….something tells me he doesn’t want to be the one left holding and left being responsible for cleaning up Bush’s Bag of Boneheaded Blunders.(okay so I’m redundant using Bush and boneheaded in the same sentence)

McCain is:
A) Parroting Bushie talking points, hoping this will win him the Presidency.[fat chance ]
B) Understands he cannot win and is setting up his legacy as the patriotic soldier … to the bitter end.

A professor on Pacifica just mentioned several issues that were not brought up in the mornings session. Let’s see if I can get this right. He said that a Republican prosecutor in Guam (looking into Abramoff in Guam) was replaced in 2002 and that Bush had pushed for this. That this proseutor was replaced by someone’s cousin on the investigatory committee. Not sure if I have what he said right. Who knows about this?

Just played on CNN and critiqued by Bill Schneider:

Nina Tottenberger (sp) on PBS says she has been told privately that Gonzales wife doesn’t want him to resign because she feels that he has been besmirched!

Poor wifey.

With all due respect to Mrs. Gonzales, she’s no more in charge of the timing of his resignation than I am.
