It could easily be argued that bush and that maggot cheney, scum-of-the-Earth rumsfeld, and the rest of the sacks of crap of the bushliar-criminal regime have been extremely bold. But they have be wrong, dishonest, and deceitful IN EVERYTHING they do. Hopefully their reward will be multiple life prison sentences each.

I know this is a sensitive subject but why is it that A*P*C without the *’s sets off the filters?

I am wondering if this is why the old blog at the David Corn website was attacked when discussion about the lobby and the I/P conflict would be discussed. Trolls hit the site so hard that it shut down and Corn never restored it.

Are there other words that set off the filters?
Who is it that attacks sites if the A word is used? Can attacks be investigated?

I am trying to talk several professors (Prof Gifford Doxsee (in his 80’s) who taught middle eastern studies here at Ohio Univ for 30 years ,served in WWII and was in prison with Kurt Vonnegut at Dresden , Professor Whealey a history professor here at O.U who is also in his 80’s, and a friend Haroon from Afghanistan and who is studying for his Masters in Cocommunications here at Ohio university) into spending sometime here at Firedoglake in the conversations. We meet often to discuss politics, history and Religion.

When I was talking to them about your site and the “polite” dialogue and links, I had also mentioned the filtering system. They were all very interested in this, and I could not explain it very well ( I am not a computer person and either are they). I brought up that when you write out the A term or b j spelled out that it automatically trips the filters (is the way to explain it?)) But the word fuck word does not trip) the filters. If I am explaining this to them correctly they found this fascinating and mysterious.

I would really like to get them on board on your site, and will share with them your earlier and hopefully more clear explanation of how the filtering system works.

I know you folks work hard and I truely appreciate what you do. But Whether you can admit it or not,( and I know you can not) your snotty response was uncalled for. If FDL’ers want people to come to this site that may not always fully agree or are not always on the same page being more polite when someone ask a sincere question that they are obviously not clear about would be well worth your while.

To this last comment, my mouth drops open in astonishment. Surely, this is one who is ignorant. I’ve been there, from Tabriz in the north, to Ahwaz in the south. Just what is it that you see in a glance at a topographic map that leads you to believe that a military strike would be a cakewalk?

Our armed forces are at the breaking point now. A military strike on Iran just might provide the last bit of idiocy needed to complete the break.
