Sure, it was a good idea to lower expectations before Gonzales’s testimony.

But they tripped themselves up in the details. A guy telling the truth shouldn’t have problems with his “timeline” or contradicting himself. Clearly, Gonzales is making up a story, and he’s practicing his lines.
