Say, did anybody else interpret Rove’s horrible performance (BEFORE the rap thing) as I did? Right after calling himself Fitzgerald, he claims to rip the “tops” [heads] off small animals, and to collect stamps. Was he really mocking himself and not Fitzgerald? In any case, he was remarkable unfunny for somebody who is supposed to be very bright.

I don’t think that it has ever been reported that Fitzgerald collects stamps. He was reported to have had a cat for a time, but no one suggested he abused it.

I think Rove was mocking himself and, perhaps unconsciously the President.

Remember it is the president who is reputed to have tortured animals, by blowing up frogs.

It is the president who pretends to be manly by clearing brush at a place he calls a “ranch”, but which does not actually raise any livestock (unless you count the chiggers, and by pretending to be a fighter pilot like his da when he has never seen even a nano second of combat.
