Secondly, I have been aware of and despised Conrad Black for somewhere between 20-25 years now, and I am SOOOO looking forward to his karma catching up with him here, it is certainly the best chance of it I have seen to date anyway. This man is an absolutely vile nasty and as PW rightly points out absolutely dangerous piece of work who has done tremendous damage to the media in terms of making it mouthpieces for his Anglosphere agenda. I have listened to him prate on about that notion since the Cold War days in one form or another and it sickened me then as much as now.

Lastly, one thing some here might find absolutely fitting regarding Lord Black, he renounced his Canadian citizenship to receive that title and he did so quite angrily and contemptuously. However, once he was facing the charges for this crime and it looked like it was serious he suddenly reapplied for his Canadian citizenship. Now, the only reason I can think of is that he is worried that these charges might actually succeed and therefore if he does go to jail if he is a Canadian citizen he can petition to serve his time in Canadian jail instead of American. Which given what would happen to him in any American privately run jail is quite understandable. As bad as our own penal system can be from time to time it is still overall significantly less harsh than the average American penal environment and Lord Black well knows it (he certainly railed about it enough in his editorial pages in the past). That is one of the main reasons why I think he is worried about these charges, more than has been acknowledged publicly. Personally, I hope he is convicted BEFORE he can get that citizenship back, because he should do the time where he is convicted IMHO because of all he has said praising this very culture. He loves it so much he should have to abide by its rule of law as he would no doubt once have advocated for any other law breaker, well before he was facing charges anyway…(deep sarcasm there)

If you think I have a great deal of emotion regarding this man you would not be wrong. I have long held him in highest contempt for his actions and his attitudes, and I am extremely pleased to see him get the deserved harsh spotlight of reality/truth that Phoenix Woman just shone on him in this post and grateful to get to add my voice to.

I also think after the antrax scare at the Captital that they probably are now all being spied on. he anthrax scare was 1 week after 911 which means that was probably planned too.
