Here are the top 5 people I want to see under oath, and questions I want answered. Anyone have any other favorites they would like to share?

CIA Director Hayden: What was the result of the CIA damage assessment regarding the treasonous outing of Plame?

Specifically: Were any US or foreign agents or contacts killed? What was the dollar cost of doing a damage assessment? What was the dollar cost of the setback in time and manpower in replacing the Plame function? Has the capability to track WMDs post-Plame been restored at least to its levels pre-Plame outing?

Goodling: By whom were you directed to check on US attorney “Bushie loyalty”? What was Rove’s direct or indirect involvement? Was making Rove happy part of the DOJ mission as you understood it? Did you personally research whether any of these activities were illegal? Were you informed by anyone else that your Bush loyalty activities were legal?

Scott Jennings: Describe all uses that the Bush administration is making of federal government resources to maintain political power, in addition to suborning the DOJ and abuse of GSA spending power. Describe how the plans were made (including who helped make them) for the DOJ firings and the GSA politicization program. Describe how you, Rove and others involved in these efforts stayed in contact. Described where all documents (including electronic files) relating to these activities can be found. Before they were indicted, how were DeLay and Abramoff involved in these activities?

Brent Tolman: Describe the development of the language inserted into the Patriot Act. Describe efforts you and others made to ensure it was undetected. Who directed you to insert the language into the Act? Were you also directed not to inform the Senate specifically as to the presence of such language, and if so by whom?

Scooter Libby’s memory expert: Please describe how Kyle Sampson’s memory can be clear on certain matters pertaining to making AG Gonzales the fall guy for the US attorney firings, and yet vague on so much else. Has “Rovenesia” (the inability to remember facts that might implicate Karl Rove directly in untoward activity) become a clinically defined category of memory loss, or will that be an outcome of these hearings?

New invasion rationale–we went there for the rugs.
Turning this hilarious comment into a serious note for just a moment, the cheap rugs are just a small, but perhaps symbolic, representation of the economic exploitation motive that was really behind the invasion.

Interesting that making an Iraqi rug likely takes several weeks of labor and Se. Graham got five for $1 each!

I bet they were made by child laborers who can’t leave home to go to school because of a) curfews, b) the risk of bombs in the schools or on the streets, c) and the fact that thewir teachers are being kidnapped and shot.

So the kids are simply sitting indoors all day and making rugs on looms…for Republican Congressmen to buy at horrificly low cost!

Nothing can touch Stephen Colbert’s truth telling at last years dinner. He told the truth about the war, the press and the Bush administration. It was a sight to behold. The press looked terribly uncomfortable because Colbert pulled their “groupthink” underwear down for all the world to see.

I think Colbert’s routine pretty much rendered the Dinner inconsequential.
