kirk, I think you send a tightly edited message with the bulk of your two largest comments here in it to the attention of Henry Waxman and ask for an investigation into the Department of Interior and the Bureau of Indian Affairs, pointing out that there is at least one intersection with the Abramoff scandal and a likely intersection with the USA scandal.

Not a bad idea, but I would bet, consider the tens of thousands of lurkers who see this site each day, that Waxman’s got someone feeding every tidbit you legal eagles come up with.

Don’t let me discouraqe anyone from relaying their posts to the proper authorities, but I can’t imagine there’s not some staffers watching silently, waiting for cues and clues that our astute doggies provide.

But when we start putting this big puzzle together, I think we will find (hopefully in the next year or so) that there is but two degrees of separation between Bush’s many minions and their mischievous machinations.

The one degree that separates them all is the WH, and the only question remains , was t=it Rove or Bush or Cheney that made the connection.

Someone posted on TPM a very simple, logical comment that might just be our best talking point on Monday.

HuffPo article sez sentencing June 26. [As IANAL, I’m too ignorant to know if today’s proceedings mean that the plea bargain has been submitted (for future determmination) vs having been accepted by the presiding judge.]

In terms of time strategy, Thursday’s hearing may be the earliest objective….

They will not stop at anything that further their pursuit of corruption. These guys are the biggest crooks in our sad US history.
