The executive is in the control of the cabal. The judicial is in the control of the cabal. The doj and the enforcement of Law is in the control if the cabal. Only a part of congress is NOT in the control of the cabal and a good portion of that dances to the tune of the cabal. The coup de e’tat is near complete, the Constitution – an illusion, the Law – a delusion, and reality – an allusion. This is a fatal cancer of the body politic.

Excising the cancer is as fatal as the disease itself for what was before as the cancer is intertwined deeply into that fabric and in the excise of the cancer, the fabric itself is rent asunder on the removal. Only in carefully planned and executed surgery, skillfully done is there hope to minimize the damage to the fabric. Where is such surgeon? Beware of demogogic claims of such skill, demand valid credentials.

Debra fuckin Saunders! She drives me crazy. Thursday is conservative day on the SF Chronicle Op-Ed page and we are often blessed (like today) with Debra on one side of the page and Victor Davis Hanson on the other. What drives me crazy about Debra is that she sets up a story and goes along, goes along sort of making sense, but inevitable drives off the road in the last couple of paragraphs. It’s like her brain hits an IED or something.

And Hanson is a real piece o’ work. He is at the Hoover Institute at Stanford and is allegedly an historian. But I keep thinking he grew up on some parallel universe planet from the one I live in.

I only read them if I am running a quart low on adrenaline…which hasn’t happened lately for obvious reasons.

Like last week when she recommended that Bush dump Gonzales (so much for loyalty), but that was to concentrate on Iraq, where Bush is just so totally right. Debra fuckin Saunders, for sure.
Debra Sanders comes in handy as a specific example of conservative tool hyperbole. Liberals at dinner parties ask conservatives for insight into liberal dislike for Joe Lieberman? – Happens to Debra.
Rush Limbaugh always seemed so okay in person, who could know he was on Oxycontin? Again, Debra is a witness.
Conservatives are terribly, terribly disappointed that Bush has made a lot of mistakes, but he’ll get the big things right, so the Dems better get out of his way like the public really wants. That’s Debra, 24 x 7, the tool that never fails.

Former New Orleans airport chief Roy Williams has lost his job as head of Salt Lake City’s airport.

Williams reportedly spent $300,000 in fees for special consultants to override the master plan to rebuild portions of the airport for $1 billion.

The mayor said the firing was a personnel matter.
