The website is a donation and news site invitaing contributions towards their “legal team,” i.e. the team that is suing over Plame’s blown cover and the loss of her career.

Perfectly legit and I don’t mean to nitpick. But the use of the term “defense” implies that they are under indictment or face prosecution for something—-neither of which is true.

I travel a lot, amongst “common folk”, unlike Donald (dumbest combover) Trump and I have never seen such anti- American sentiment in 30 years. The world is in disbelief that Americans are allowing this administration to wreak such havoc without any repercussions. Blair is toast in England and throughout Europe for being Bush’s lapdog. After the last couple of hearings, boy, am I going to enjoy traveling again. I am going to give every one of my European and Asian friends this URL.

Is what your suggesting that this whole Plame outing deal may have been choreographed in the shadows by these Off the Record types like Hohlt and Duberstein – outside of official channels, and that’s why the missing links in the story really are so hard to tie together? Is there cause enough for Waxman to call in Hohlt and Duberstein to testify? Does this smell Rovian?

Don’t lose site of that one. Everything that is a thing about the NIE. Also any discussions between WH counsel, Gonzales, and the President about whether the President was breaking the law vis a vis the NIE declassification – I think that’s where the Clinton WH counsel precedent leaves you – that discussions about the President’s personal criminal culpability are not privileged – ?????

Also, the 200 emails – were they, perhaps, like the gwb emails that are being released now, not on the Gov server and instead archived on the Republican National Committee server? If so, as CREW is pointing out for the USAtty emails – isn’t that a violation of the presidential archives requirements?

The Rove “clearance” letter.

Anything and everything about the NIE instadeclass that they can get – just getting a little will justify opening an investigation into the whole. ANd we can watch Addington justify the covert planting of domestic propaganda in violation of the Nat Sec Act as justified by his little sec clearance case.

I’ve emailed this to several members of Congress, but I’d feel more comfortable with an on the record assurance from Fitzgerald, McNulty, Margolis and/or Gonzales that there were no revocations, modifications, revisions or other changes of the authority assigned to the special proscecutor (at any point, but in particular after the removal at will ruling).

Back to the beginning, the NIE is info is at the core. I think that there will be additional claims of work product, privilege, internal deliberations, etc. – not just GJ secrecy claims, but I’d love to see the ball start rolling.
