I smell a pardon in the air (after the appeals of course)

The jury has found that lying to FBI investigtors and a grand jury, and obstructing justice will not be tolerated by our system of laws, even when the felon is a senior white house official.

Now, will our justice system make it equally clear that elected officals, regardless of how high their office is, are not permitted to disclose classified information about covert agents in order to protect their own political position, and their case for a pre-emptive war based on fraudulent information?

Having lurked for weeks, I am going to kick $1000 into the FDL support kitty. You folks have been fabulous.

The real heroes here are whoever on the jury found a way to bring around the obvious holdout and avoid an 11-1 hang.

I would like to thank Patrick Fitzgerald and ask him to please start a grand jury to investigate several of the people involved for conspiracy to commit treason, treason and any other charges necessary to bring closure to the outing of a cia national asset during wartime.
