We do not take the bible literally nor do we read it much. We listen to the Gospels and the Epistles read at Mass so you wil find most Catholics familiar with certain portions of these. He is also a member of the Heritage Foundation, perhaps it would be more appropriate if he used this affiliation when introduced to the public. It would be much more in keeping with his message.
