When I first started blogging back in Feb 2005 I assumed that my congress critters would actually listen to me. Wow, what a wake-up call I got.

John Cornyn and Kay Baley Hutchison are so far right-wing instead of praying before they go to bed they recite George Dubya’s latest talking points.

I, myself, had wished Sen. Russ Feingold had run for President. I believe he’s a good man.

What’s a fella to do, to help out, living in the red state of Texas?

I wrote to both my senators today. Of course, since I am from South Carolina, it won’t make a bit of difference but it made me feel like I was doing my part. If you live in a state where it DOES matter, please write on behalf of your blue friends stuck in red states.

Teresa, as I said in a post yesterday, it DOES make a difference — maybe even more in a Senate office that’s not used to hearing that point of view.

Pat yourself on the back, and get everyone you can to write to those same, pig-headed [sorry, pigs] Senators to let them know that “stay the course” is NOT okay.
