Thanks for the response. I’m just not clear how Scooter telling all would necessarily provide a solid case against the others. The statements he could make against Cheney, Rove etc. would be a he said/she said between an admitted perjurer and someone about whom there is no other evidence (no matter how much I wish otherwise). What do you think?

For starters, what if Fitz were to call Libby back in and ask him again if he and Cheney discussed outing Plame on AF2?
Pin him down to a yes or no- if he says yes, he goes after Cheney for IIPA (for example finding out who in the CIA told him she worked in CPD)…If Cheney found out ‘officially’ and spilled anyway, he’s liable, right?

You look wonderful. Yesterday I spoke of you with the woman operating the shop within the Lymphedema Treatment Center in Scottsdale AZ.

(While I have leg lymphedema because of trauma, arm lymphedema is a problem many women treated for breast cancer must face — numerous products in that marvelous, welcoming, and warm shop were designed specifically to make the life of breast cancer patients as comfortable and soothing and free from additional troubles as humanly possible.)

She agreed with me that your courage is inspirational to us all.

Now I need some courage — and your prayers/good thoughts — and the prayers/good thoughts of any Firepups who care to send some for me.

I have an odd sort of lump in my underarm.

After having had sporadic underarm pain for almost two months, and having my dermalogist tell me it was most likely skin irritation, the therapist at the lymphedema treatment center told me it doesn’t look like skin/soft tissue irritation to her — and that I need to get to my GYN and have a mammogram stat.

Thank you, Jane, for all you do! Your courage is very meaningful to me right now.

Yes, I am kidding about the flu. What amazes me is that I am almost more anxious about missing the trial than I am about the cataract surgery!

Isn’t that nuts?

I have not had cataract surgery, but my mother has, 2x. She is 90. She had her second surgery at the beg. of January, and she didn’t even bother to mention it to me until after the fact!!! So, maybe not so nuts.

Hey, cataract sugery is a breeze. I have had to have both eyes done in the last two years – I was really struggling and nearly blind, esp. at night. And I’m only 53! Yikes!

The surgery itself took less than an hour, and I was out of the patch in a day.

My vision in the eye that was done was amazing…better…BETTER than I have ever had since childhood!

They’ve been doing this type of surgery for almost 50 years. Today the risk is very slight. Just be careful during the post-op. Don’t rub or take off the shield!

My advice to future President Obama would be to ask Patrick Fitzgerald to be his Attorney General. Quite an upgrade over the current AG, no?

I always had Elliot Spitzer penciled in as AG. This Fitz thing kinda messes that up, now, doesn’t it.
