It’s going to take 10,000 egregiouses out there ten years, saving hundreds of thousands of babies and kids in places like Russia, Bolivia, Bangladesh and Cameroons to come a fraction toward restoring the image of Americans George W Bush has created, and for which that evil man bears 100% of the responsibility.

Yet, according to the philosophy of some Jewish scholars, one egregious can save the world, many times over.

I do want to take hate speech off the air. What is hate speech is, obviously a judgment call, but I am confident that an sane FCC would err on the side of freedom and the courts could sort it out if they did not. Imagine a left wing station that suggested kicking in the faces or burning down the houses of CEOs because they are getting all the money. That isn’t Air America’s style, but I think it is very, very dangerous to have millions upon millions of people slavering over violence against anyone who objects to an extreme right wing agenda or who happens to be a Muslim somewhere in the world.</p> For the first time in a year or so of reading FDL I disagree with TRex.
