Had never visited in the winter before. Need to put in a wood stove so we can use it year round. Just to be clear, those are not my snowmobiles, not a fan of noxious gas guzzlers, but what a glorious New Years Eve day it was, and Crater Lake was absolutely beautiful in winter. </p> <p>The last pic (of MY Peanut) is back at home, notice the manzanita christmas tree - it came out of our front yard and we use it every year.</p> The most relaxing place on earth!

Shoo- Yes- but more often to Palm Desert..Usually it’s warmer in the desert- but not recently. While we got chilled by an arctic blast the last couple of weeks- they got FROZEN SOLID!

-4 for a high last week in Park City.

Park City is one thing, LA is quite another. We had a freeze last week – I lost potted plants I’ve had for over a decade, there was a solid puddle of ice in the parking lot at Sprout’s school and it snowed at about 800 feet!!
