Good call on the cocktail weenies–but did you keep “Fitzmas”?! It’s important to get that holiday recognized, y’know ;-).

“Out a spy” on the cover should emphasize that the spy outed was one of OURS, doing counterproliferation work. You may want to adjust the wording if that’s still possible.

I realize I’ve been EPU’d, which is fine.
If anyone has any comments you can email me at Brosart AT west.net or look at my website at www. LyndaBrothers.net.
I would love to get a discussion from parents of young children about the prevalence of HDHD etc.and why it’s happening. Did we just not see it before, or is it happening with more regularity? I am not a doctor, but I am in the school system and see all sorts of problems kids and the arts in school is so far not on the beaten track most times in schools that we are saying it’s not important to communicate visually.

Siun @ 272
Thank you for the post. I have read a few of T Hartmann’s books and I love his radio broadcast. He filled in for Franken the last two weeks while Frankin was in Irag, and I made sure I didn’t miss him while working on art work. I’m sorry he’s not at the right time now.
I teach art to elementary kids and I am finding more and more are labeled all sorts of things. Not to disparage it, but the parents love the excuse.
But maybe it’s also that there is usually no art in the school, so they have no visual outlet?

Marcy, if you’re still around, I apologize for misspelling you name way back @ 215. I can’t wait to read the FDL analysis when Ari testifies. Your expertise is something that the MSM can’t bring to the reporting.

I’m always late to the party. Congratulations and thank you to everyone at Team Emptywheel for all of your hard work and dedication.

Libby himself has already identified the VP handwriting on the clipped article, hasn’t he? I found it listed as grand jury exhibit 8 and Libby’s testimony in this linked PDF

Grand Jury No.
03-3
&
Constitution, N.W.
Washington, D.C.
20001
Friday, March 5,
2004
The testimony of I. LEWIS LIBBY was taken in the
presence of a full quorum of the Grand Jury,
commencing at
10:40
a.m., before:

…Q. And had you seen that copy of the article before the
FBI showed it to you during the course of the investigation?
(
A.I I don’t
recall it. It’s possible if it was
sitting on his desk that, you know, my eye went across it.
I
don’t,
I
to him, but we talked about
the
article a fair amount.
MR. FITZGERALD.
And let me show you a copy of the
MR. FITZGERALD:
Q.
And in looking at Grand Jury
8,
can you tell us if
you recognize the handwriting at the top, top of both pages?
A. Yes, sir. It looks like the Vice-president’s
handwriting.
*
Q.
Okay. And I take it you’re familiar with his
handwriting?
A. I am. I couldn’t necessarily pick it out from
!similar handwriting, but this looks like his handwriting …

I figure this is old news but I thought someone asked about it earlier.

L B Art & Egregious:

Not sure if you know about this but Thom Hartman (yes, that Thom Hartman, star of progressive radio) wrote a very insightful book on ADD called Attention Deficit Disorder, a Different Perception - Amazon has the latest edition. I worked for Thom many years ago and saw the first edition which proved very helpful to our family!

siun,
Hartman has been doing some great work lately on framing and “chunking” on his radio show. I finally forked over the dough for AAR premium and have been downloading his podcasts. Friday’s has a large segment on it worth listening to. He’s trying to coach us all on how to talk with the wingnuts and win the arguments.
