An article today is fingering her for signing off on the Hussein handover.

Poor Condi, she’s gonna find out what happens to people when The Decider decides they aren’t useful to him anymore.

Thoughts?

One Rovian aspect that gets too little attention is the post-vote pivot. After hardly mentioning it at all in his “re-election” campaign, destroying Social Security became Junja’s mandate for 2005. Now that his 2006 midterm victories are behind him, we suddenly hear about the need for a SURGE.

And, reliably, McCain and RGJoe are flanking W’s right. While not nearly as snarky as expected, I really did enjoy ChiDyke’s onsite reporting from the AEI Hellmouth.

It’s quite funny to see how easily they all get their chain pulled, isn’t it?

The Israelis leak something to the Times of London, which is sort of the equivalent of a New York street fight, “gawd, hold me back before I kill `im” routine, and then they politely decline to comment, knowing that they’ve gotten things in the US stirred up again.

The emphasis here will be, “geez, we’d better attack with conventional weapons before Israel does something stupid and dangerous.”

Like Israel wants to unite Sunnis and Shia alike against them?

Like Israel wants to have the entire Muslim world accusing them of genocide? (And, make no mistake here–mini-nukes of the size described would do little more than shake the shit out of facilities buried under seventy feet of rock, and would kick up a whole lotta fallout in the process.)
