Apologies for rant – but this little game of “chicken” they’re playing will, without question imo, have enormous consequences if they are not stopped. There is only one fragile world involved here, trying to keep from going !BLOOOEY! If “we” don’t tackle some/all of these things, the world’s children will have no.legacy.at.all…. Z.E.R.O.

My hope is that, although the Dems have said “no” to impeachment, the revelations from the upcoming investigations will give momentum to the public outcry for impeachment, more and more community petitions for impeachment flowing in the door. Then, the Dems can say, “Look, we tried to avoid impeachment because we thought it was in the best interest of the country, but this is what the people want, they’re clamoring for it, so we’re gonna give it to them.”

That way they can look all noble and stuff.

I’m sure I’m being naive. I imagine Cristy can contribute to the legalities issues in ways that I can’t touch on.

And I thought, Hmm.

BUT, Nixon HAD ALREADY RESIGNED, & his powerbase was NIL – in shambles &/or jail, no?!

somehow, that makes a HEEEUUUUGE difference to me in re strategery. Jr. & that faceshooterfella MUST be removed from office, ASAP! append the “usual” imho, ianal, ymmv, ad lib. i’ll just sit here & stew over the consequences if it’s not done, & hold up looming world war, rampant poverty, global warming, etc. etc. etc. as justification for being so silly. He may as well. We all know he’s not going to stand there and say he’s fucked up big time, so what’s the point? Yeah, it’s constitutionally mandated, but the Constitution is just a goddamned piece of paper.

Here’s a thought, maybe we should explore the power of the laugh.. no, this isn’t another feel good comment, I mean the power of the laught to deflate the pompous. Imagine if the WH pressroom erupted into laughs when Tony the Sno-job started pontificating some point. Imagine the look on his powdered face when he realized that he’s totally lost the audience. Let’s take it a step further and imagine the idiot-child at the next state of the union speech. “We are just about to turn the corner in Iraq”.. cue the laughs and watch the little puke screw himself into the ceiling. Now that would be something to laugh at.

It works for me. It might not change anything, but the bastards couldn’t ignore the fact that we’re on to them.
