I have sunlight simulation lamps, and they really help. You can make your own with a high-power flourescent in the reptile section of a pet store. They also have clip-on lamp bases with protective cages. You have to have it in your eyes for 1/2 hour a day, preferably in the morning since it can keep you up if you do it at night. This is the hard part; I set it up in my veal-fattening pen at work.

Regarding the 16 pardons . . . I thought of Karla Faye Tucker when I read the following:

He said that after investigation by the Office of the Pardon Attorney at the Justice Department, most weight is given to these factors:

the seriousness of the crime;
how long ago it was committed;
the acceptance of responsibility and showing remorse;
post-conviction conduct and contributions to society;
any specific compelling need for relief;
