**What the Bush administration and AG Alberto Gonzales told Halliburton as Dick Cheney’s favorite company was awarded a $385 million contract to build “detention centers” around the country to hold illegal immigrants rounded up and “for other purposes.”

Hey, one just doesn’t build “detention centers” with the intent of letting them go to waste, sitting empty, even though this is what I heard from a friend working for a FEMA sub-contractor down in New Orleans several weeks ago, that “detention centers” were sitting empty out in the desert Southwest just waiting for their first “guests.”

So, ICE raided some businesses the other day and 5,000 immigrants “disappeared,” presumably carted off to some of these empty, secret-location “detention centers” for incarceration and processing.

But still so many empty “detention center” cells built by Halliburton and the Bush administration that are just begging to be filled.

So, John McCain decides to help out by offering a bill in the Senate that goes after bloggers and other internet companies, making them responsible and liable and prosecutable for anything appearing on their website.

And “Goldwater Girl” Hillary Clinton and the ultra-orthodox religious nut Joe Lieberman are going after video-game violence, aaannnddd of course pornography.

This’ll do the trick.

Soon, the $385 million Bush administration investment in prison cells around our freedom-loving nation will be realized with all the cells filled up and Halliburton probably being contracted to build even more…as the United States sets new world records in incarcerating American citizens and immigrants.

Oh, happy day. Oh, happy day.

And to think that I thought we had beat the Communists when the Berlin Wall fell in 1989 and the Soviet Union collapsed. Apparently, the Communists (and their control-freak conservative sympathizers) just went underground and resurfaced in the Republican and Democratic parties in America.

Hey, to know who the Communist sympathizers are in America today all I have to do is monitor who in America is advocating the same level of “control” of the internet and other entertainment venues as the Communist Red Chinese, the “new” Russia which is looking a whole lot like the old Russia/USSR and one religious tyranny after another around the world.

Control-freak conservatives are easy to spot. They all are out to censor the same things…for the same reasons…with the exact same justifications offered.

Regarding TDS and the Rajiv interview. I thought the Constitution gave the right of the private vote. Is it not illegal to ask a job applicant who they voted for? I know companies cannot ask a job applicant if they are married or even have children, so how can the goverment ask who you voted for?

I don’t know about the details of it, but the way I figure it– they put the word out and the loyalists came and signed up in droves.

This administration has no respect for any of our laws anyway… :(
