Another tortured preacher. It’s incredibly sad when people hurt so many others (spouses, children) along with themselves trying to live in desparate denial.
I’ve noticed that older straight people are more intolerant. Someone’s sexual orientation isn’t even an issue to my 20 something kids & their friends. I think & hope that these younger people will have a big impact so sexual orientation becomes a non-issue & gay-bashers will be as ostracized as animal abusers or klan creatures.

I suspect this is part of what’s behind the religious right’s desparation to pass some anti-gay marriage act. They can see that in another decade or two there won’t be nearly as many people who have their prejudices. The time to act is now before they really become the minority viewpoint.
