I say we impeach both the Deciderer and Darth Cheney in one fell swoop and get the Pelosi’s in the WH sooner than later. Who’s with me and could somebody please ‘plain why we are hesitating for a nan-o-second?

Because even many of the DEMS in my area freak out any time they hear “The I word”…
Because I don’t know how we’ll convince (AT LEAST) 16 GOPers in the Senate to convict…
Because I want to see the Congress pass some good legislation, and see if the Chimp-in-Chief is so stupidly stubborn that he’ll veto it all, AND throw his party’s future under the bus…

As much as I’d personally LOVE to see the Chimp-in-Chief impeached, I don’t know if it’s the best thing for our party OR for the country.

Hi Andrew, I’m asking you because you just discussed all this important stuff with real Dems (I’m only here for the revolution)

1.) Exactly *WHY are Dems freaking? Is there a real reason they hesitate to do what they got elected to do or do they just have a vowel problem?

2.) Are there not 16 honest men/women in the GOP? The Whip is gone, Karl is as lame as his Preznit (quack!) and surely some of them will want to be re-elected.

3.) You may think it’s cute to see Bushie veto legislation that we need *now* to save America and the lives of thousands. The victims in Abu Graib and Guantanamo may feel differently, your country’s (now mostly former) friends and allies around the world may feel differently, and the families of our troops may feel differently. Baghdad, Beirut, Darfur. When elections don’t work, what do you think happens next?

I sometimes feel guilty that I never took her in (already cat heavy with 2) but not yesterday. Yesterday she looked like she was a little princess enjoying the excuse to snooze in on a chilly beach morning.

Today we have a lot of wind, and we have australian pines and mangroves along the water that we look out on to, and the wind is singing through the pines like a locomotive. It is grey out, and a bit cooler. It is a lovely morning for a cup of coffee, a downy blanket and a murder mystery. Semester is over, just finished putting my grades in on WebAdvisor and I am free for the weekend before the serious Christmas rush begins.

Thanks for reminding us how sweet it is.
