They didn’t fall asleep in the poppy field, scarecrow, they were the freakin’ flying monkeys. They’ve simply tucked their collective tails away and are trying to look like doves of peace; hoping no one will notice they are freaky, flying simians.

Gad, I think the most ironic aspect in recent years was watching Shephard Smith’s uncontrolled indignation at the complete and unnecessary horror that was befalling his home town during the Katrina disaster. Someone at the Murdock flagship obviously got to him quickly and gave him the, “Loose the conscience or loose your job,” line.

Maybe Shephard will come out of the closet and tell many, many truths in some future memoir. For his sake, I hope so. He seemed like an alright human being for one, brief, shinning second there.
