Thanks for the questions that got us the gold star a couple of days ago.

But don’t send those b*st*rds to K*ns*s. I went to graduate school there, and it was a pretty nice place. Aside from not having anything betwixt you and North Pole but a knocked-down bobwar fence, that is.

Of course, the place has been taken over by a bunch of loonies since I left. But I do like to visit now and then…

Joe Wilson — hooray and huzzah! What a spectacular coup for FDL and all of us. Excellent.

I look forward (without holding my breath) to the day when Mrs. Wilson can join us for a chat without her minders and without the constraints I understand she labors under. For a real patriot and public servant to be silenced throughout this controversy swirling around her must be frustration’s zenith.

Or its nadir.

These two Americans must have their full day in the public square someday — how spectacular that the Ambassador will be able to provide his unique vantage on Iraq right here.

shades of the War on Christmas.
I recall my astonishment on arriving here in the Bible belt (South central Texas) to practice law, and discovering that NO BIBLE is even used in court to swear witnesses. Just ask ‘em, “do you swear to tell the truth?” that’s it. Nobody seems to think anything about it.
