- ‘just society’ quotes Pierre Trudeau (my hero)

- the ‘we’ party vs. the ‘me’ party
- inspire a sense of community
- greatest days are still ahead
Sorry if it seemed like a thread hijack but I got caught up in the Dean moment. It wasn’t rousing but it was a foundation speech. The Libs need to hear this kind of message. I’ve always liked Howard Dean. My respect for him just grew and then some. Merci Mr. Dean.

In the end, I want payment from those who got us into Iraq. I want recompense for those who have suffered for so long in the hell that is Gaza. I want penance from the perpetrators on behalf of the ghosts of Lebanon. I want justice.

Iraq Panel to Recommend Pullback of Combat Troops
WASHINGTON, Nov. 29 — The bipartisan Iraq Study Group reached a consensus on Wednesday on a final report that will call for a gradual pullback of the 15 American combat brigades now in Iraq but stop short of setting a firm timetable for their withdrawal, according to people familiar with the panel’s deliberations.
