Well, the DC Dems didn’t want Dean as their Presidential candidate, even though he was the front runner in the primaries; they wanted Kerry. And in the end they made sure that they got Kerry, one way or the other…Now they decided they didn’t want Ned, even though he won the primary; they wanted Joe Lonesome…and they made damned sure they got him.

The good part is that no matter how hard they tried, Dr. Dean kept coming back and beating them at their own game, much to their increasing heartbutn. Same with Ned, I’m sure. Same with all of the bloggers and the netroots activists, and the grassroots. They’d love us to all go away now and let them do their little shell game.

Ya someone posted that already, but that was jsut a prediction- I think most of us half assumed he’d pull ahead before it his 100%(because of the precidcts that hadnt been reported), but now we have the data:P

W’ll negotiate now ‘cuz Nancy’s prettier than Denny.

I just spent some time digging through the county by county numbers in MO. Most of the rural counties are in – they went big for Talent. Suburban St. Louis still has a fair amount to report, and Talent and McCaskill have been fighting pretty close there so far. The biggest places yet to report anything are Kansas City, which McCaskill should carry very big.

It’s still going to be close, but I think McCaskill’s going to pull it out.

AND Webb still has four unreported precincts from Richmond and Fairfax Co. where he is winning with a margin a 72% and 58%, respectively.

Looks to me like the only precincts not reporting in VA – Sen are absentee voter precincts and Richmond City precinct 0212 which was overwhlemingly for Kerry in 2004 but only had 306 votes cast.

I’m afraid we’ll have to wait for the absentee ballots and the recount.

Rodriguez, like Bill Winter, was always a party-building candidate. He’ll probably (hopefully) run through to ‘08. He’s an amazing candidate and I think we did a whole bunch toward pushing forward his campaign into the limelight and giving him much-needed support he did not get from the Democratic establishment.

I went to Dr. Victoria Wulsin’s victory party tonight. One of her opponents, the Republican write-in candidate was there. He said he hoped enought people voted for him to take votes against Mean Jean Schmidt so Wulsin will win. He said he respects Wulsin for her integrity, dedication and honesty and feels she will make a wonderful elected representative. This from her Republican opponent!

I’m out here in Kansas and the local coverage has said Nancy Boyda (D, challenger) is ahead by anything from 51 to 54 percent. But I don’t think anyone has called it yet.

Has this been called on the national level and I missed it? Or does anyone in KS know anything more definitive?

Iowa 2nd CD is too close to call and Iowa city Loebsack’s(D) home town. Iowa city had 40%of the voters vote absentee. Iowa City is the 2nd largest town in the district. Leach(R)wasn’t supposed to have to work for this. There was no national money in this race I could see by the commercials.

Tweety is saying 33,000 votes yet to be counted in Fairfax county……which supposedly goes heavily for Webb.
