I thought that would go for Webb and we might lose Montana – since all the ‘knowitalls’ are saying that. But everyone believed that Webb would be able to pull the veteran vote. He did not do that in big enough numbers yet I guess.

Same here in Georgia–horribly red. Had to wait in line for an hour this evening—really unusual in this rural area. Poll workers said business was booming all day long.

Somebody please tell me, what does it mean that Wall Street is rallying on the prospect of our party taking the House? Wall Street rallies for the prospect of a Democratic victory? Can’t recall this ever happening before… that our country is now being so badly misruled and so blatently corrupt that even the ever-pro-status-quo money managers and institutional investors ‘ere on the side of change? What a pathetic state of affairs we have… ‘course maybe the market just likes the prospect of gridlock. Still.
