While you, Kos, Atrios, Josh, etc. are covering the election and watching one battle come to an end, the next battle will start during it. Please get together and make sure you/we all scream to the heavens that it was Clinton, Schumer, Rahm, K Street or the DLC that did this. They are already stealing credit for everything. They will be believed, this victory will become their victory, and they will dump us in the alley with Lamont’s body. Somebody has to lead the charge to make sure they don’t end up with the credit.

Another interesting thing about the Voisin story is that it wouldn’t have happened with out the seeds you all planted with the roots project, which is where Old Gardener, Rat Bastahd, and I met and vowed to crash the gate. Fate being what it is, my wife bumped into Carol while shopping and told her I had just come back from Ykos and had some ideas. Carol found me in the checkout line, and after some talking she asked me to be her “netroots advisor”. Soon Carol was reading fdl and mydd and froomkin.. oh brave new world… It was obvious we were plugged into a new and better source of information and way of doing things, and in September she asked me to run the campaign. The rest of the excellent staff have all gotten plugged in to the netroots, and so have lots of the people we’re working with throughout Oregon. Its been a wild ride… Thanks again to you all!

What happened in Danbury?

It was just the end of his bus trip around CT – and the end of a bruising campaign.

He began by talking about what a nice life he had been living 1 year ago – wonderful family, great business, etc. Then, why he took on this quest. He got teary when he was talking about the special people who have supported him along the way.

It was just a very genuine, emotionally connected moment between Ned and those who have fought along side him (including many on this blog). Damn he is a decent, special man.

BTW – of course CT Bob, Matt Stoller, CTKeith and I’m sure other bloggers were there.

It was an intense scene.

Awwww. I truly think he had no idea what he was getting into, not that he ever flinched. Joe turned far meaner than even I would have expected.

And Ned remained the solid, principled, nice guy I met at the beginning of the race.
