Your post reminded me of Amy Rigby’s song “Give the Drummer Some” (or something like that). I think it was on either her “I’ve Got the World on a Broken String” or “Till the Wheels Fall Off” album. Think I’ll go listen to some Amy Rigby before heading out to help with the local GOTV effort.

egregious – (peeling off layer of tin foil coming in from the porch) it just can’t come soon enough can it gal ? been chuckling at your comments the past few days – we’re clearly wound up the same for tomorrow – what ya doin’ today ?? me – my longest workday of the week (10 hrs) followed up with precinct meeting and last minute banking – tomorrow will be calls and rides. Am thinking I’d better do some re decorating and re stock the bar over at windcatpond in anticipation of Tuesday traffic – actually found a way to make the Apple Martini’s blue

He sat down with me late in the evening at the kitchen table while his son (just in from overseas and about to deploy on his fourth rotation in Iraq) as well as the rest of his family sat in the living room chatting with Paul Hackett.

I cannot believe I missed a whole weekend of FDL!

It was in a good cause though, I aspent mey weekend, and will spen this evening training lawyers to be Election Day poll monitors. We are also depolying hundreds of pol watchers to monitor the closing of the polls after they finish their GOTV work.

So, I have been a little swamped. Missed you all and wanted to say hi!

If I don’t check in have a happy Healthy Election Day and get out there and VOTE.

So damned good to see TRex documenting the energy behind the wave, too. We have so needed more confetti in our lives, and good reasons to throw it.

Need to hit the shower and then hit the office to get cracking on the phonebanking. BIG sprint to the finish, folks, hope I’m going to see some of you donning headsets in my office today to call Dems to remind them tomorrow is D-Day, when we effect the change this country needs soooo badly.
