Isn’t it relvant that Saddam was convicted of crimes he committed in 1982 – the very same year he was De-designated as a State Supporter of Terrorism by Alexander Haig and the Reagan Administration?

Congressman Murtha has recently said that people should be talking about Rumsfeld, when they talk about Iraq today. Shouldn’t real journalists also be connecting the dots to the crimes of 1982, especially since the following year (1983) was when Donald Rumsfeld had his infamous meeting with Hussein.

Since Sunday’s conviction is for actions that were purposefully ignored by the very same Republicans who decide the current Iraq policy, if the verdict is being properly reported on, then why doesn’t it damage the Republicans?

This past Sunday I enjoyed quite the double header. First I watched the HBO special Hacking Democracy. This was followed by my friends Tivo’d recording of your Nov 1st comments (There is no line that this president won’t cross….)

Thank you Keith. You have redefined what has been lost in a nation that now cowers underneath the shadow of the GOP hammer. We, as Americans refused to be ruled by fear.

You have succinctly brought the fight to the administration in a collective consciousness that bluntly illustrates how American lives are not poker chips for political careers. I openly applaud your employers for giving you the forum to express your views and restore some sense of normalcy (and more importantly credibility)to broadcast journalism.

I read the book and your “The Worst Person In The World” recently and found them both interesting. I am a fan of rap music and BillO is whinning about Ludacris boycott he created. Now tell me is he afraid of Ludacris or afraid rap music will be the number one seller in music stores?
