Anyone have any thoughts as to how the revelation about the impact of the revelation about the A-bomb notes on the WH site might have on the general mood of Tuesday voters? I am in a heavy work time, and having been reading as much as usual.

Oh yes. I hardly drink these days, but will always spare a bit of time for a Barossa Shiraz or a Laphroaig.

OT: True story – I was living in an apparement in Germany, with rommies from all over,including a Brazillian woman. I asked the roomies if anyone wanted a scotch. She scrunched her nose, and said no, she didn’t like scotch. I poured a few, and she looked over. She dropped everything, grabbed a glass, and ran over, exclaiming “You never said ‘Laphroaig’!”

Made me chuckle, as Laphroaig is often an acquired taste (”ew, it tastes like medicine.”), and the last (not first) scotch a person grows to like.
