Basically, it’s believed that there are three levels of human evolution and each has it’s form of conciousness. There’s the 1st level with 44 chromosomes. These are primitve people’s like the aboriginies in Australia who do not percieve anything outside of themselves.

Australian aborigines and europeans have 46 chromasomes. If they had a different number, they’d be separate species. And you wouldn’t see any half-aboriginal children, much like how you never see half-chimpanze children.

Sounds like some people still believe in the disproven Lamarkian evolution theory. IOW indidvidual oraganisms do not, as Lamarck believed, evolve.

I’m pretty sure the person I quoted just probably misspoke – you know how sometimes when posting a thought on the internets and you can’t think of the right word to say, you wind up saying or implying something completely opposite of what you really think. What they probably wanted to say was something like neanderthal or cro magnon man and what came out was aborigines.

But the overall metaphor which they seem to be getting to in regards to the meaning of the song is that human beings do and should evolve
