It went extremely well. We hit him hard on getting money from student lending banks and then raising interest rates on student loans by 2.4%.

And we just heard about and independent expenditure out here that is running ads for us and the name of the organization is “Santa Clarita Republicans for a Better America”.

We also recently got endorsed by two Republican columnists in Bucks hometown paper.

It got some attention and radio stations across the district are going to replay it. We also did a tv debate later on today, but we were not allowed to respond to answers.

Absolutely. We get so many unsolicited calls everyday. People are fed up with Bush and Iraq. It is amazing how many Dems have come out from the hiding. They are now so excited to say they are Dems and our volunteer base has exploded. People making homemade signs, others putting up our signs, others walking precincts, phone banking, and most importantly telling their friends to vote.

From the radio debate.

The issue of Iraq also came to the forefront, where Rodriguez insisted that the country needs to focus on the issues of today, which is that Osama Bin Laden has not been caught. Rodriguez also offered dismay at the fact that we entered Iraq unilaterally. McKeon responded by saying: “The same people who wanted us to form a world coalition before going into Iraq, want us to go into North Korea unilaterally. You can’t have it both ways.” Libertarian David Erickson joined the debate in the discussion and made clear his vision of pulling troops from Iraq immediately.

I’m telling them right now.

The Reps are tired of the extremism. The ads say that Buck votes the party line 95% of the time and that he doesn’t represent their values anymore. A lot are moderates and they feel that their party has left them behind and so they are looking for leadership.
