If Hillary gets close to being elected she will get some nasty ones.
How do you think she should reply to questions like “how should wives react if their men are drawn to Lewinsky types in their office?”. Obviously this question is suggesting that Hillary does not like oral stuff. How should she get round that? Many women share her feelings on the subject.

Hillary’s comments are one more disappointment from a woman who should know better. They went after her and former President Clinton in the same way. President Clinton, referring to the Republicans, has stated, that’s what they do, they smear and destroy their opponents. He has also said, do not let them get away with it, confront them, as indeed he did on Fox news. So, knowing this history, why would Hillary jump on the Republican smear campaign of John Kerry? She knows very well that Kerry was out there campaigning for Democrats. She knows very well he was shining a spotlight on the failed Presidency of George Bush. She sabotaged Senator Kerry and humbled the Democratic Party out of self interest. It won’t work. If she follows her better instincts, she will avoid this form of political gamesmanship and react to Republican smears with righteous indignation. If Kerry is guilty of bungling a joke, Hillary’s response to it is a really bad joke. But, the joke may ultimately prove to be on her. The people are tired of politicians who lack integrity Senator.

yeah, i agree with that… if he flubbed a joke, say so immediately.. in the next sentence after you did it… DONE. this story had legs long after it should have because the republicans and their media pimped this to the max…doesn’t excuse all the bullshit, and the piling on of kerry that the right (expected), the media (lapdogs), and certain democrats (unacceptable)for a slip of the tongue…

however, slip of the tongue or not, i sense a certain wounded egotism masked in machismo in kerry that doesn’t allow him to admit mistakes, esp in the face of the people that swiftboated him- (which is understandable to a degree, but he is a politician, this is the game he chose) a certain brittleness that is so unspontaneous and measured, that was the reason why so many people didn’t feel inspired to get behind him… shit, he can’t even make a quip about a blown joke in front of a college audience. good for him for going back at the bullshit thrown by the administration, but he could have also deflected all the bullshit earlier.

again apparent that he is not anywhere near presidential.. but still doesn’t excuse other democratic leaders for throwing him under the bus… far far worse than telling a bad joke is a backstabber for personal gain. hillary’s a bitch. also not presidential.

I don’t get it. Have you watched Keith Ooberman explain this? I believe him. Kerry didn’t need to appologize. Fuck Kerry, he folded his puny presidential tent in Ohio, screwed us all because we wanted him to show that fuckwad bush what a real man is like and he didn’t come thru. Stay focused people. Which is exactly why I sent John Kerry an “atta boy!” e-mail that I now wish I could take back.

While he’d certainly have been better than Bush, (who wouldn’t?) I’m beginning to think it’s not such a bad thing that John Kerry isn’t the President.

I put a comment on this post at the Huffington Post this morning and it was not posted. All is said was we should have seen this coming and prepared. Had a phone bank ready to start blasting the democrats that report to us or the ones that want to, with phone messages saying don’t dare flinch, or something like that.
I added that I called John McCain and shamed him for his craven display yesterday.
Maybe this is what they objected to, I also asked John McC. whose side he would be on if Bush refuses to give up power. Ours or has his place at the royal court already been assured. I guessed his title would be, First Garbage Man to the King, he would be promoted over Powell who used to be first but now was Second Garbage Man to the King. I thought that was so clever, it is like when you are writing an essay for a class and you have just crafted the most perfect sentence, but it just doesn’t fit and you just kind of hang there.

On the bright side, if Hillary wins the Dem nomination in 2008 and Lieberman wins in 2006 (I beg the gods, no!) then I’ve got an idea. We get Lieberman to be the USA for Lieberman candidate for president. I could vote for Lieberman over Hillary Clinton at this point. (Got to vomit now. Laters).

This latest go around about Kerry’s remarks reminds me about the response to the Pope’s criticisms of Islam, though the Pope truly meant his remarks. It is the response that is amazing. I guess we can expect Republicans to overreact and dissemble, but when our own brothers and sisters not only fail to support this good man, this veteran, but attack him, too, then we have come to the point where the Republicans have won anyway. They had taken away our self-respect.

I believe that after the election, many will have to apologize to Kerry for their lack of loyalty and good sense.
