“And then ask yourself why it is that you’ve seen so little coverage of this in the corporate media?”

Is this the same goddamn corporate media, part of the gang of 100 U.S. companies, that are black-listing Air America?

Are these the same goddamn corporate media that are covering up for their fellow corporate thieves who are plundering our treasury for every last “piece of silver”?

President Dwight D. Eisenhower warned us about these type of low-class, thieving, lying crooks someday monopolizing our democracy…to the point of destroying our democracy.

Vote for a Democratic Party candidate on November 7th. We might just still be able to save our democracy from those “culture of corruption” individuals that President Eisenhower warned us about.

In fact, I’d bet serious money that you can’t, because as far as I’m concerned this is the most incredibly fucking stupid thing anyone’s written on here in days, and that in itself covers cosiderable territory.

And that’s the second stupidest thing I’ve read here in a few days. I haven’t looked at the remainder of this thread, and for the sake of my own sanity I’m not going to. Nevertheless, I apologize to raven316. What raven316 wrote was, well, not very thoughtful, but that doesn’t excuse my being rude.

People on Lamont blog are clamoring for more calls to obama - it might work..

If any of you want Senator Obama to come to Connecticut and help Ned this is what the women at the Washington D,C. number told me fax in your request attn:scheduler if 100’s os do this I think he will come to Connecticut I am sending a request now to the fax she gave me.Lets all do it.

Obama:
voice: (202)224-2854
fax: (202)228-4260

Lamont is close. Support of a “biggie” like Obama could make the difference, so LET’S HELP.

Obama was in Minneapolis yesterday signing his books.

He’s apparently not real interested in the election coming up.

Who else can we call for help?

A dead thread, but leaving this like a note in a bottle. If *we* blog urchinz elect Lamont all by ourselves, the Powers That Be cannot claim him or his victory. And they cannot claim us, either. Power to us people, we don’t need no help.

it’s jawdropping for me to see national news channels flash something like for the democrats, and there’s no outrage!! there’s no questioning how ANY politician can say that without any intense scrutiny… sick of it.

A VOTE FOR THE REPUBLICANS STRENGTHENS THE TERRORISTS.

absolutely CORRECT

the REPUBLICANS put saddam in power, the REPUBLICANS diverted the resources FROM the fight against terrorism, the REPUBLICANS policies in Iraq FUEL the recruitment

the REPUBLICANS have WEAKENED our military, the REPUBLICANS ignore the advice form the generals on the field

A VOTE FOR THE REPUBLICANS IS A VOTE FOR THE TERRORSITS.

that’s the headline i want to hear. that’s the talking point that i wish one of the candidates will bring up. why not? it’s kind of despicable but that’s the EXACT type of bullshit that comes from the prez chimpie on down… so why not hit back?

all the actions of this administration points to exactly that fact, the end result is that the terrorists have gotten strengthened by the policies. it’s even demonstrated by the love video that al qaeda did for bush days before the ‘04 election, because they know that fact themselves.

so i repeat (this can be said many different ways):

A VOTE FOR THE REPUBLICANS STRENGTHENS THE TERRORISTS.

OK, obviously I’m fucking stupid and this thread is dead but for the record almost everyone that comes on MSNBC is talking about Kerry’s comments.
raven316 @
126

Asking what good is going to come from what he said is incredibly fucking stupid? Maybe you and I should talk face to face.
Cujo359 @
125

raven316 @ 114

You tell me what possible good is going to come from this?

HotFlash @ 112

raven316 @ 106

Great, Kerry sticks his fucking foot in his mouth again!

I read it, I saw it, What did he say wrong?

Oh, for crying out loud! Do you write everything perfectly enough so that everyone understands it 100% of the time, even when they’re inclined to think the worst of you? I doubt it. In fact, I’d bet serious money that you can’t, because as far as I’m concerned this is the most incredibly fucking stupid thing anyone’s written on here in days, and that in itself covers cosiderable territory.

Yes, Kerry should have written that statement more carefully, and as Taylor has observed he should have said that he didn’t say things clearly enough. That’s true. But this is ridiculous. It’s perfectly clear what’s going on here. These guys jumped all over a guy with Parkinson’s disease when he said everything perfectly.

I’m stressed and it’s clearly time for me to take a time out, but would you try to get a grip, too? Is it too much to ask to actually put yourself in someone else’s situation and try to imagine what’s going on for them? Is it too much to just consider that maybe someone else deserves the chance to not do things perfectly once in a while?
