Not in the way that’s being discussed here, not as a deliberate manipulation, but wondered if he had side effects and was unable to take them. He was just so much more afflicted than when I last saw him [actor’s studio]. The answer has turned out to be that he is, indeed, more afflicted. Katie Couric asked him if it were hard for him to appear on t.v. If you think about it, it’s an absurd question. He’s like that all the time. What she was saying, I think, is that this is hard for us to see. It was for me, even being in a profession where I’ve seen it many times before.</p> <p>It is a show-stopping disease. He is completely correct in what he says. We have no idea if stem cell research will lead to a treatment, or a cure. What we do know is that stem cell research holds promise. To block it because a bunch of thoughtless people don’t approve based on ancient mythology is beyond all understanding.</p> <p>And for Rush Limbaugh to mock him, accuse him of acting, is the lowest of blows, even for Limbaugh.
