Ok. You got me. I added $5 x 2 for Steve Sinton in the GA 06 race. Steve supports stem cell research.
His opponent does not.

Dammit, I can’t donate - it says US citizens only. :/ Is there any way a concerned Australian can lay down $5 towards the cause?

Ooh, I just went to the new thread and you can help TRex go election touring with Tommy Yum and the ‘Had Enough’ gang! Me too!

I am in the same boat, being a Cdn. However, we can quite legally donate to the Donation Drive for Marcy Wheeler’s Book on the CIA Leak Investigation (see thermometer on the right hand panel approx next to Comment 5). Poor old thing’s been a bit neglected what with all the yanks donating to candidates just now. Marcy’s trying to beat the Jan 17/07 date that Fitzgerald will start hearing testimony and can use the dough.

One thing you can do is to support blogs like this one. They provide information and coordination for Democratic candidates. I don’t think you’re forbidden to donate, becuase it’s not an official function of any political party. Perhaps someone familiar with the law can comment on that.

I have no connection with this or any other blog that I’m talking about at the moment, so I can’t speak for them. It’s just my opinion.
