Gillibrand certainly has the momentum. Hillary came to my little village on Monday to endorse her and it was a wonderful rally. Bill Clinton will be in Albany tomorrow with Kirsten and Brian Keeler at NYSUT (teacher’s union) for another rally. I get to see two Clintons this week! My sister – working hard for Harry Mitchell (who will upset that vile JD Hayworth) in Arizona got to see and chat with Ambassador Joe last night at neighbor’s house. We’re starstruck and loving it!

Yes, I will be there….looking forward to it.

For those few firedoglakers who may not know, Sweeney issued the infamous “shut it down” order that sent a mob of DeLay staffers to violently disrupt a legal vote recount in Miami-Dade.

That would be enough for me to support anyone running against Sweeney, but in volunteering over the last few months, I’ve met Gillibrand a handful of times, and she is the real deal — smart, aggressive, well-funded, great on her feet, genuine, empathetic, Democratic to her core.

She’s come from nowhere to within single-digits, and needs all the help she can get over the next 13 days.

That is quite a stink, isn’t it? Water is precious in that area. There’s very little of it on the ground most of the time, I can tell you that. I’ve had reason to visit Ft. Huachuca for the past couple of decades, although I don’t remember anything about ManTech. It’s probably one of those low-cost contractors that just provide workers for the government agencies there. There are so many of them in that area that I doubt even the natives can keep track of them all. I think they’ve run out of three-latter acronyms, so now they’re working on glomming syllables together to form company names.

Anyway, good luck getting rid of Renzi. There will be plenty of his kind left after this election. Getting rid of a few won’t screw up that ecosystem.

Big Dawg, is coming to the 3rd CD tomorrow to rally the troops for Dave. We are also having an evening speech by Ray McGoern about the lies that led up to the Iraq war.
