Didn’t the GOP break the unwritten DC law not to campaign against leadership of the opposing party when they went after Tom Daschle?

Our national party leaders must make John Laesche’s campaign against the Speaker a marquee race in the next five weeks. They owe at least that much to America’s children.

Excellent point Teddy - when I think of party leaders one of the few who light up my heart is Dr. Dean so guess I’ll start with him. Any and all suggestions of party leaders worth contacting will be much appreciated.

You bet he did. Woodward is one of the most anal, most careful journalists in this country. He and his assistants do a tremendous amount of research before one of his books is written and published.

There is no way he would make these allegations unless he had lots to back them up with.
