Oh my. Seems like he has the same personality disorder as the Decider.

I am always right! Remember that!

I’m convinced many voters generally liked Joe and that he could have taken the wind out of Ned’s sails by simply saying he miscalculated in his optimism on the outcome of the war and asked for voters’ forbearance. That he refuses to pay them that respect infuriates people. He may just lose his career over the simple human inability to concede a possible mistake. Interesting.

Interesting? Huh.

How very Republican of him is what I was thinking.

Of course my head exploded and I undiplomatically rejoindered that nobody who tells rape victims to take a “short ride” could be considered a “nice guy.”

Nobody who plays a big role in starting and keeping going an illegal war and then feels no concern whatsoever about the innocent casulaties which ensue is a “nice guy”.

Fascinating report! Lieberman’s such a political hack and Sharpton sharp as a blade. I haven’t agreed with Sharpton on everything (now that’s real bi-partisanship) but the man’s got plenty of political smarts and he uses it in a decent way with respect for the system, not like that thug Karl Rove.

Lieberman surprises me though. His flustered responses to questions makes him more robotic-controlled by-handlers and not the savy experienced politician he would want everyone to believe he is. Ken Caine certainly lifted the curtain on that Wizard of Oz. Nicely done.

                               45

1,266 DAYZ AND THE KILLIN’ GOEZ ON AND ON AND…

Can you tell me why so many folks inside and outside Connectecutt are still clingin’ to the myth that Lieberman was EVER a good Democrat??!! If you use his anti VietNam or pro civil rights stands to support some “liberal” gene in his chromosome string I would like to mention that both of those were stands that many honest conservative Republicans took at the time. Lieberman has always been a Manchurian Candidate…his pro-Democratic voting record is based on many final votes taken while Democrats were in the majority while many of his tactics and committee moves were to soften or gut real progressive legislation. The moment the fascists took control of the Senate Ol’ Joe became a “bi-partisan” Republicrat doormat.

So, is there any explanation as to why so many inside of Connecticut still have a soft spot for this charlatan?

Can’t Tom Swan get the Big Dawg to come down ta New Haven and stand on the podium with Sharpton, Jackson and Lamont…wouldn’t that put a stake thru Lieberman’s coffin and right thru his chest?

KEEP THE FAITH AND PUT THE SAILS UP… THE TYPHOON IS BLOWIN’ IN OUR DIRECTION!!!

I’ve lived in Connecticut all of my life, and have never held a favorable opinion on Joe. I was first introduced to him in high-school when he was calling for limits to free speech, and protesting violence in films, and video games. I thought it was silly, and infuriating at the same time. As I got deeper into politics, it was actually the negative influence of Lieberman that triggered my involvement, and affiliation with the Green Party. When I turned 18, the first vote I cast was in November for Nader. I’m a registered Democrat now, and know that progressive Democrats are this Country’s only chance of survival. The CT youth vote will definitely go to Lamont. I can’t identify with democrats who support tired old Joe. Go Ned!

I, too, read the GQ article. Inspiring. We are creating a new movement….taking the Dems back to the left where they belong….damn it.

I long for hope…I’m in Ohio.

It’s unfortunate that Old Al Gore believed that putting Joe on the ticket would get the Jewish vote and win him Florida, and even with the loss could have won if he could only have won his home state, but the Lord works in strange ways, and I’ve always wondered if and how the U.S would get militarily involved in the Middle East, Armageddon, and the Beginning of the End. Now, Lo and Behold, the American Army is in Babylon. His Will Be Done!

Ken Caine’s article demostrates why Ned will win. So important to emphasize that Joe missed critical votes, and that he voted to give $3.8 billion in tax breaks to big oil. See the Energy Bill 2005 vote. But Joe claims to be for energy independence. What a crock!

what is this “nice guy” shit? Leiberman, bush, and every republican may be charming one-on-one, but they are malicious, insidious pricks that cause untold destruction. without them the world would be a whole, whole lot better place.

What can I say? I found the article fascinating and I am glad Ken Caine pointed at the thuggishness of the Liebercamp.
I was not so happy about his characterization of CT, race and Ned Lamont and how it played in the election. It was inaccurate. There are pockets of CT that are conservative and go by the rule in politics. Throw in name recognition, and that not “race” was the key factor, IMHO, in certain towns. Towns with simliar ethnic demographics sometimes voted for Ned, sometimes for HoJoe. I wish Caine had gotten out of this white lawn wasp/bluecollar ethnic dichotomous thinking.
